Sheri Proulx

Library Technician

My name is Sheri Proulx and I interact with lawyers, staff, and legal practitioners to find the most current information. I graduated from the Library and Information Technician program with honours in 2021. I have been a staple at the James W. Fraser Law Library since 2019. I have general knowledge of various practice areas to ensure I provide adequate customer service.

Outside of work you can find me in the summer on Golden Lake enjoying the water on my paddleboard or seadooing with family and friends.

LAURA KEUHL

Library Assistant

I grew up in Cobden and was raised on a family farm. My parents would read to my sister and I every night and that is where my love of books started. The first time I saw the Parliamentary Library in Ottawa on a Grade 3 school trip I knew I either wanted a personal library like that or to work in one and here I am! I joined the library team in January of 2023. Before being at the library I worked in a law firm in Kingston after graduating (with distinction) from St. Lawrence College’s Law Clerk Program. Currently enrolled in the Library and Information Technician diploma program with Mohawk College. My background is in administration, medicine, and the pet industry. I currently reside in Golden Lake, right on the water in my Grandparents homestead.

When not at the library in the warm weather you can find me out on the water kayaking or paddleboarding and in the winter snuggled in with my two cats (Munroe and Benny), my dog (Bailey)and my husband (Jon).
