Available Services
- Computer Print and photocopy – $0.25/page
- Researching and photocopying of caselaw, statutes, etc. (There is no charge for this service except the cost of the photocopies).
- Requests may be in person, by telephone, fax or e-mail. If copies of cases are e-mailed there is no photocopy charge.)
- Electronic research and Internet access
- TV, DVD, laptop and projector are available for use.
- Computers available for Microsoft Word use
- Legal Product Training – Library staff will be pleased to assist and train members on the electronic research products. If you are interested in legal software training, please email the library office and we will arrange a training session to suit your schedule.
- Research Assistance – Library staff is available to respond to your questions and assist you in using the resources of and available to the library. We can help you locate and note up cases. This is a free service.
- The James W. Fraser Law Library provides electronic resources such as Westlaw Canada (CriminalSource, FamilySource, EstatesandTrustSource), O’Brien’s Encyclopedia of Forms (Master Index, Leases, Wills and Estates only), ProView, Lexis Nexis Advance Quicklaw, Lexis Nexis Practical Guidance, VLex Canada (also, in a pilot project with LiRN for REMOTE ACCESS with VLex – Irwin Law collection – email library@rcla.on.ca to sign up), DivorceMate, Rangefindr.ca, HeinOnline, and AccessCLE found on library computer terminals only.
